The Middleport Heritage Society and the Brant Public Library jointly hosted a Digitization and Preservation Workshop on March 1, 2025 where the local community was invited to bring documents, photos, journals and books to be scanned and archived. Participants could take home the digital versions of these items as well as add them to the Brant Public Library's digital archive.
Blain Albin invited participants to talk about the items they brought and their reasons for bringing them to be archived. This episode includes some of those conversations.
The Middleport Heritage Society invites members and the general public to attend their Annual General Meeting on March 15, 2025. The AGM will feature a presentation by Karen Richardson on Adelaide Hunter Hoodless the founder of the Women's Institute.
